Hallo Trev,
for your information:
I got the nutcracker today from the german customs office. Because the value of the nutcracker is more than 22 Euro I had to pay sales tax (in Germany 19%). Thats a little disappointing. On the other hand I am now owner of the most unique nutcracker I have ever seen so far. Thank you for sending me this very nice tool from australia. I tested it with different kind of nuts (walnut, almond, hazelnut and macadamia) with always perfect cracking results.

Just thought I should let you know what a joy using your nutcracker is. I have long coveted one, admiring its sleek, gliding motion, but was unsure whether it was worth the price tag.
After buying several cheaper macadamia nut crackers from ebay, my hands hurt from the force required to operate them.
Pulling the lever on TJ’s is a dream. Thank you for your brilliant design and for making a way for me to enjoy macadamias without destroying my hands. Now I can play piano and make pots for many more years :)

You won’t believe it (neither did I), but the cracker is here!
It arrived at the local post office on March 22 nd. Whether it was shipped
on 8.3.2016 (right after payment) or on 18.3.2016 (as I was notified), it seems
almost supernatural, bearing in mind it was sent to Israel by
sea mail. Anyway, I’m glad I already have it, and it looks
beautiful and works very well!
I also left a positive feedback.

Dear Trev,

We just purchased one of your macadamia nutcrackers from our local macadamia farm here in Baldivis WA. I just wanted to let you know how refreshing it is to buy an Australian made invention that is simple and robust. The same cannot be said for most mass-produced consumables (that’s what they are!) that Australia imports and we are forced to suffer. Our family always favours Australian made goods, but they are becoming rarer. We love your invention!

Just dropping you a line to tell you how much we love our nutcracker. We bought it at a market in Freemantle while on holiday in Perth. We have a huge Macadamia tree here is Sydney but hadn’t been eating the nuts, or the ones the cockies leave us, because of difficulty cracking them. We have a Bonk which does a good job of squashing the entire nut but requires a great deal of strength, which I don’t seem to have. We tried out your nutcracker with some nuts we had laying around and found it so easy to use even the grandchildren are able to use it and the nut doesn’t get smashed to pieces. It really is great and we are so glad we bought it. We hope you sell a million.

This nutcracker is the best thing since sliced bread! Thank you so much!!
I was in a car accident and had a really big shoulder operation and lost my bicep muscle, got screws implanted etc. I own a macadamia nut tree and cause I haven’t been able to break them, I have been giving them away. NO MORE!! Now at last I can eat them and also makes a great feature on a table for DIY for visitors. I shared your Ebay link on my friends on Facebook and hope you get some more sales from it. I will recommend you to anyone that is looking for one.

Hi Just had to write to tell you I have had my nutcracker since April 5, 2000. It’s dated on the bottom. It has saved me many hours of frustration and fingers with my macadamias. I live in Ventura, California and have 6 trees on two different properties. I have cracked up to a total of 45 pounds of raw nuts a year.

My husband bought me one of your macadamia nut crackers for Christmas two years ago. We have a huge macadamia tree and it provides a lot of nuts. However, after watching us crack this season’s drop of nuts our 22 month old daughter decided that she wanted to join in. She loves using the nutcracker, especially the part where she gets to eat them all at the end.

Just to let you know I have just ordered three more nutcrackers this morning; having got one for Mum a few weeks ago, now we all want one of our own! Over the years we have tried all sorts of methods of cracking macadamias, always falling back on the old 14lb weight on the verandah….not so anymore! We are lucky that she keeps us supplied in nuts, but now that they will be so much easier to crack we might need to plant our own macadamia trees! Thanks for an excellent product.

The minimum and maximum openings of the jaws and the amount of leverage seem to be “just right”. Within a few hours of getting the device home I had cracked hundreds of nuts.
